Commercial Hire Purchase

For vehicle & equipment finance.

What is Commercial Hire Purchase?

Commercial Hire Purchase (CHP) is a form of commercial finance used to acquire vehicles, plant and equipment. The financier purchases the asset and hires it to your business for the term of the agreement, while you take on the obligations and benefits of using it.

Once your repayments — and any final payment — have been met, ownership of the asset transfers to your business.

GST-registered customers may be entitled to tax deductions and GST credits in connection with a Commercial Hire Purchase agreement. This is general information only — we recommend confirming how it applies to your business with your accountant.

How it works

A simple, three-step process from selection to settlement.

Choose your vehicle

2

We arrange the finance

We handle the paperwork and coordinate delivery, so settlement is straightforward.

3

Hire, then own

Use the vehicle for the term of the agreement, then take ownership once the final payment is made.
